Synopsis

The parents of a missing boy visit the police station and request the cops to find their son. While the police are on their hunt to find the missing boy, they encounter a series of events that add value to the story. The film has four main characters, among which three are best of friends who work at the Kulfi Pub. On one evening, they see a mysterious girl entering the pub and tips large amount to the waiter. On the urge to earn more money the three friends try to talk to her, but to no avail. Suddenly, one evening, they get a random call from an unknown girl who persuades them to meet her. The girl meets them and bribes them to take her on a holiday to an estate where the film takes a major turn. The boys aren't aware of the fact that she is a psychopath.

The boys start getting a strange feeling and believe that there is some paranormal power acting against them, and things go absolutely against their will. As and when the boys plan to run away form the estate, they face a shocking encounter that defines the reason for the paranormal activities. One should watch the film to understand what happens in the estate.

Kulfi begins in an interesting fashion, with a mysterious person beating up a man with a golf stick, as he keeps screaming to stop hitting him and forgive him. The film has been scripted and directed well. Certain touches of humour make you wonder if it really is thriller film, but the background score reassures you that it is indeed one. There are certain intimate scenes that lighten the mood. Kulfi has only one song, but one wishes that it wasn't in the film, since it seems like a random inclusion. The actress’ brilliant performance proves that she was the director’s best choice. While co-actors are the backbone of the film, it’s their acting that drives the film.The film is truly exciting and keeps one glued to the chair.

If you want a good horror-thriller film with a bit of emotions, then this film is worth a watch
